The Quran School is designed to help students develop a strong foundation in the Quran and to deepen their understanding and appreciation of the sacred text, from a literary, historical, and cultural perspective.

Curriculum

Islamic Studies

We provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the Islamic tradition and its impact on the world.

A variety of topics will be covered, including including Islamic theology, mannerism, history, and culture.

Quranic Arabic

Students will receive an introduction to the Arabic alphabet, followed by studying the context and meaning of selected verses and passages from the Quran. This will help them understand the historical and cultural context of the text.

Quran Memorization

Students will taught instruction in Quranic recitation (Tajweed) and the proper pronunciation of the Arabic letters and words.

They will then be assigned specific portions of the Quran to memorize, and will work on memorizing these portions through daily practice and repetition.
